Brain Damage (1988)

An 80s homage to New York’s punk peak seen through the eyes of a carnivorous penis puppet, legendary filmmaker Frank Henenlotter introduces us to Aylmer, an ancient poop-shaped parasite that keeps it’s victims high (and homicidal) on a hallucinogenic drug delivered directly into the brain, forcing them to seek out more brains to eat so he doesn’t eat their brains, in 1988’s apt titled Brain Damage. With one of the funniest villains in horror history and an ever more absurd level of kills, puppets and slime, this one’s a certified 80s classic… just don’t ask us to explain the ending.
